Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of PDFisPDF (pdfispdf.com). By using the site you agree to them. They are intentionally short — the service is free, runs in your browser, and we never receive your files.

The service

PDFisPDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools. All processing happens locally on your device. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Your files and your responsibility

You keep full ownership of, and responsibility for, the files you process. Because processing is local, we never receive a copy — which also means we cannot recover a file for you. Keep your own backups, and verify every output before relying on it.

Verify sensitive operations

Tools such as Redact, Encrypt and Remove Password are provided as conveniences, not certified security products. Always open and inspect the output to confirm that sensitive content was actually removed or protected before sharing a document.

Acceptable use

Use the tools only for lawful purposes and only on files you own or have the right to process. Do not use the site to infringe copyright, violate privacy, or break any applicable law — including attempting to unlock documents you are not authorised to access.

Availability and changes

The service is free and offered with no guarantee of availability. Tools may be added, changed or removed at any time without notice.

Intellectual property

The PDFisPDF name, site design and code are the property of the site operator or their licensors. Your documents remain entirely yours.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFisPDF and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
